8- Kraft CS 2” X 7” (scored)
2- Contact Brand Cork 3” X 7”
6- Ribbon at 7”
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Scoring your 11 x 17 card stock at 4”.
2. Fold at score line.
3. Turn card stock upside down and roll. (
Note: This allows me to roll straight using the edge of the paper as my guide. It does help to use the wheel guide on this project.
)
4. Do the same thing for the pocket front.
5. Fold the panel in half to create your page.
This is where I stamped my Baroque Motifs image on the top center of each page with Chocolate Chip ink.
(Note: The folded page is 7 X 8 1/2”
)
6. Now is the time to add your punched chocolate chip border to each page. It doesn’t need to be the entire width of the pocket because it will be covered up by the Kraft binding piece. My Chocolate Chip card stock is 1 1/2” X 8”
(Note:You can see here how the Baroque Motif image looks on the finished page.
)
7. Fold your Kraft CS and put 2 strips of sticky strip up each side to have it adhere well. Attach the Kraft binding to the page ends as shown.
8. Adhere your calendars to each page using SNAIL.
9. Stamp cork and apply to both the front and back covers. Apply the trim of chocolate chip card stock and narrow strip of DSP.
(Note: Remember to do these covers as they would be bound. See the pic below.
)
10. Make sure you have your Crop-a-Dile set for the jumbo eyelets. Using the larger hole punch on the side of the Crop-a-Dile, you’re going to punch three holes into the outside card stock covers. Place the covers back to back as they will appear when the organizer in bound together. Simultaneously punch through both the back and front cover together in three places.
(Note: I set my Crop-a-Dile 3/16” hole guide at 1/2” so each hole was evenly punched.
)
11. The cover is now the guide or all the holes to be punched on the pages. Using a pencil align a cover with a page and mark where to punch.
(Note: Only the covers are set with Jumbo Eyelets.
)
12. Using the PDF file provided below, print out a page for the page tabs and punch them out.
Download Card Org. Tabs
13. Apply the tabs to your pages using sticky strip (
Note: I attached the top and bottom tabs approx. 1/4” from the top and bottom. Then I evenly placed the tabs that were in the center.
)
14. Put your rings on, tie the ribbons on and you’ve got a finished Card Organizer.
I would love to see pictures of your finished organizer.
Thanks and Happy Stampin’!
