Last week I attended a LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (pictured) hosted by Stampin' Up!, in sunny Phoenix, AZ.  What an incredibly THOUGHTFUL, CARING and GENEROUS family (oops! I mean company). I was surrounded by thousands of other demonstrators and still, the COO, Dale Filmore, and Co-Founder, Shelli Gardner (pictured R) and all the other corporate leaders were just steps away with a LISTENING EAR for my questions, praises and concerns.  I felt HEARD, ENCOURAGED and MOTIVATED by this uber talented CORPORATE TEAM.  Special thanks to Tyler Cook, Web Director, Sales & Marketing and Dale Filmore for all their guidance and help last week.

Christmas Advent Chest

Celebrate the beautiful meaning of Christmas one day at a time with this keepsake Christmas Advent Chest.

Since purchasing my Stampin' Up! Bigz Matchbox Die, I knew I wanted to make a Christmas Advent "something."  Well that has turned out to be a CHEST OF DRAWERS.

I am so excited to share this project with you!  It's a work of LOVE!  Each drawer holds a beautiful pull-out accordion card with a Christmas scripture verse from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible.

The 24 verses begin with the prophecy of Isaiah in the Old Testament, the New Testament record of the birth of Christ and continues to the departure of Joseph, Mary and Jesus into Egypt.

This will be one of several HOLIDAY classes I'll be offering along with my December 4th, Stamp Camp.

This class will be offering in conjunction with several other of my Stampin' Up! Demo Team, so the seats will FILL-UP FAST.  Be sure to contact me right away, if you're interested in attending.

All the Christmas Advent Chest materials will be provided, die cut, and ready to assemble.  Time will only permit assembly of (1) one chest of drawers during class.  You may purchase other sets, however, you will need to assemble on your own.  To complete your other sets, you will need a few products on hand. I've Missed You!

 

OK, It's been a really busy and hectic summer.  I'm sure several of you can relate to that quite well.  I'm so excited to be holding Stamp Camp this Friday, August 28.  I love making the journals out of school composition notebooks.  Now is a great time because they are on sale everywhere for "Back to School".  I got a great deal on some last year at Staples and am keeping my eye peeled for more great deals.

I'm also doing a cute little post-it not holder with a mini gel pen.  I know it's going to get really busy with all the school time running around.  A little 3X3 post-it note binder will be just the right thing to jot down all those quick "To Do" notes.

Keep your eye peeled for more projects with the NEW "In-Colors" from our new 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog (catty).  I went mad with the Crushed Curry on the "Things I Love . . ." card.  Also, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the new Big Shot dies!  The Bigz XL Fancy Favors box is FABULOUS!

April Stamp Camp Experiencing Technical Difficulty

April Stamp Camp is happening right now, unfortunately, many of you were unaware due to a technical e-mail malfunction.  My e-mails were not going out and yours were not coming in.  Not a very effective communication system, huh!  I believe the problem has been corrected and I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.  I think the safest way to see "what's up" is to check back here at Mukibug.com regularly.  Did you know that if you subscribe with your e-mail in the left side bar, you'll receive automatic e-mail updates whenever I post new information on Mukibug.  Give it a try and stay connected.

Welcome Henri Jackson Lyttle

Special congratulations to Erin Lyttle on the healthy birth of her new son Henri Jackson.  Henri was born Tuesday, November 25th at 4PM.

Erin went to a doctors appointment at 9:15AM and they sent her to the hospital!

Henri was 6 lbs. 8oz. and 19 inches long.

I am thrilled for the Lyttle family and wish them a very happy Thanksgiving.

Very Fine Massage Chairs

I was in heaven today!  I went to have my nails done and discovered Anna, Unique Nails & Waxing Owner, had purchase 8 new massage chairs for pedicures.  Now I was NOT planning to have a pedicure today, HOWEVER, the chairs were speaking to me and I couldn’t resist!  I’m telling you the truth . . . I have never sat in a more comfortable massage chair.  The only thing IT didn’t massage, Kim did!  Please give Anna a call and let her know I sent you!

World Card Making Day

World Card Making Day was a blast at my home.  We stamped from 1PM until 11PM and had fun creating several different cards.  I’m including pics from our creativity.  The top left bear card  and the Christmas topiary card were inspired by a darling Calendar topper and card made by Becky Roberts of Boise, ID.  The three bottom cards were created by my good friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! Demo Kim Salmonowicz.  Isn’t she a creative lady!  She inspires me all the time!  Thanks Kim!
